I recently was given a free pass to tour the Coronado beach project. I was very curious about Coronado because of it being so close to Panama City and having a very large beach and resort complex.

Coronado is about an hour outside the city or 83Km, and is very easy to navigate down the Panama American highway to the entrance of the resort.

When inside Coronado Beach you notice several beach homes, volcanic sand beaches, Condo towers and also Hotel Coronado, the Beach Club, and equestrian center, several restaurants, convince stores and the magnificent Coronado Golf 18 hole, par 72 course designed by Tom and George Fazio.

Developed in the 1950’s by Bob Eisenmann, the present owner’s grandfather; Coronado was developed as a gated community offering beachside lots and homes to those desiring a weekend retreat from Panama City
